The Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation Cell has been functioning since May 2018. The major focus of this PME Cell is to plan and monitor various development programmes and activities of the Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth. The PME Cell acts as a coordination unit between the University and Government Departments of Maharashtra State. The PME Cell processes the new research scheme proposals of the University in getting funds for infrastructure development and facilitates implementation of various schemes for the benefit of the farming community. It is also involved scruitinizing award, training, conferences, workshop and seminar proposals of scientists and faculties for onward submission. The PME Cell is under development. Various activities have been initiated for implementation in the university. The cell has developed various formats for proposals regarding projects, to attend conferences, seminars, training and workshops. The university vision document, infrastructure plan, student database is being prepared. The PME Cell has prepared guidelines regarding attending conferences and trainings by scientists and faculties. The PME Cell is working towards quality planning, research, and monitoring of research, education and extension education activities.
