• Use of ICT in teaching & examination.
• Exposure visit for the student through educational tours.
• Agro-industry interface of students & staff.
• Promoting holistic Higher Agril. Edn. by blending knowledge, skill & attitude mainly through;
    (a) Experiential Learning Units,
    (b) Personality Development
    (c) Faculty development
    (d) Strengthening of sports & games facilities,
    (e) Library facilities.
• Assuring quality & relevance of higher agricultural education by accreditation & periodic revision of course curricula.
• Modernization of AU Farms.
• Reduction of inbreeding in education & promotion of national integration particularly through:
    (i) Common Entrance Tests for UG (15% seats) & PG (25% seats) programmes,
    (ii) Catalytic support for faculty / students exchange, guest- & adjunct-faculty,
    (iii) National Talent Scholarship (NTS) for UG studies & fellowships for PG students.
• Gender Mainstreaming including girls’ hostel, amenities & facilities.
• Building global competence by Overseas Fellowships / Scholarships through programmes of Govt. of India.
• Improving faculty competence through training, Centre of Advance Studies, Summer / Winter School, refresher courses and        
   participation in seminars / symposium/ conference, etc.
• Inviting the visiting faculty for filling the gaps, excellence-promotion & enhancement of faculty-learning resources.
• Strengthening of libraries.
